About 4 km from the city centre at the base of Sheshadri Hills, Kapila Theertham is a sacred waterfall cascading 100 metres into a pool inside the premises of the ancient Kapileswara Swamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The sight of water tumbling down the rocky hillside into the holy tank is both visually enchanting and spiritually uplifting. It is a popular spot for pilgrims and nature lovers who visit after their Tirumala darshan.
