Kapila Theertham

Situated at the foothills of the Tirumala Hills in Tirupati, Kapila Theertham is a sacred Shaivite site where a natural waterfall cascades directly into a temple tank beside the ancient Kapileswara Swamy Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. A grand Nandi statue greets visitors at the entrance, and major festivals like Maha Shivratri and Karthika Deepam are celebrated here with great fervour.
